Mindi L. Rothans, CPC, CDPMA
Mindi L. Rothans leads our team as President of CPC Unlimited with over 13 years experience in both the medical and dental fields. Along with her extensive knowledge of the Billing and Coding field she has worked in the back office and experienced the full dynamics of a practice.
She holds certifications as a CPC (Certified Professional Coder) and a CDPMA (Certified Dental Practice Management Administrator) she was President-Elect for the Laguna Niguel AAPC chapter 2004-2006 term, in addition she has proctored several CPC & CPC-H exam's for the AAPC and currently proctors the CDC exam for the ADCA.
Mindi is a California state certified Coding and Billing instructor and taught the Medical Coding and Billing course at Maric College's Lake Forest Campus, as well as being on the advisory board for the 2005-2006 Coding and billing curriculum. She currently teaches seminars on Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Periodontology, Gastroenterology and Physical Therapy coding and billing, in addition to teaching both the CPC and CDC exam prep courses.
She is currently on the editorial board for the BC Advantage as well as a contributing author. In 2005 she was on the editorial review board for Fordney's "Insurance Handbook for the Medical Office, Ninth Edition." and has recently co-written the CDC exam for the ADCA.
